One Ounce Clinic in Chino, CA
“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” – Benjamin Franklin
A Different Kind of Dentistry
Welcome to One Ounce Dental — where exceptional oral health meets a completely redefined patient experience.
We operate on a foundational truth:
“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
Our mission is simple:
To create dental experiences so positive that you start looking forward to visiting the dentist.
To deliver dentistry so thoughtfully that your teeth remain healthy for life, requiring nothing more than regular checkups and cleanings.

The Philosophy
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
I chose a career in dentistry to serve people in need. My early work in the High Desert showed me how pain, limited access, and uncertainty can make dental care difficult. It also showed me the value of explaining what I see before discussing what to do next.
Those experiences shaped my focus on prevention, practical education, and conservative planning. Preventive care can lower risk and help identify changes earlier, but no treatment or home-care routine can promise a cavity-free result for every person.
Working in a high-volume environment also taught me that patients need enough time to ask questions and understand their options. A recommendation should be based on clinical findings and individual needs, not a production target.
That is why I created One Ounce Dental: to build a practice centered on careful assessment, honest recommendations, and long-term relationships. We look forward to welcoming the Chino community.
